Xention is a leader in the discovery and development of ion channel-modulating drugs. The Company is developing a pipeline of innovative products for the treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF), the most common form of cardiac arrhythmia, for which there is high unmet need for new, more effective and safer medicines. Xention uses an innovative approach to discover and design potent and selective small-molecule drugs and has collaborations with several companies. The company is developing modulators of IKur (Kv1.5) and IKACh, both recognised as novel, highly new exciting targets for AF. Its investigational IKur inhibitor, XEN-D0103, is currently undergoing 2 separate Phase II studies assessing safety and efficacy in paroxysmal AF as part of a partnership with Servier for all territories of the world outside the US and Japan. *
